Team Tt DRAGONS of LOL (League of Legends) is the National Champion in Taiwan, sponsored by Tt eSPORTS
April 9th, 2012 - Taipei, Taiwan – After five-month long of battling for the League of Legends Tournament, Team Tt DRAGONS sponsored by Tt eSPORTS won the Championship on April 4th, Saturday. Hosted by Garena at Huashan Creative Park in Taipei, Team Tt DRAGONS brought home the trophy and the sweet cash prize of NT100,000, sprinkling the team’s legendary accolade for the young team led by team captain Gulucat, and successfully delivered their first trophy for Tt eSPORTS!
At the final round of the tournament, Team Tt DRAGONS had a professional show performance for their fans. Crowds gathered from all over the country to witness just exactly how great the team was in League of Legends. In the beginning, Team Tt DRAGONS had a tough match against their opponents, and team captain Gulucat was surrounded and was close the brink point of surrender. There was no sign of worrying from the fans however, as Team Tt DRAGONS was able to pull it off and advanced to their first win with consecutive ACEs to eliminate their opponents.
After the first round success, the team found themselves in an unstoppable aggression and retrieved their familiar attitude as true champions. Both the fans and their final-round opponents were aware of the changes, but it was simply too late. Complete annihilation performed by Team Tt DRAGONS as a gesture to respect the game, and successfully established Team Tt DRAGONS as the National Champion of LOL Tournament.
At the award ceremony, Team Tt DRAGONS received cash prize of NT100,000, and team captain Gulucat was thrilled to reflect on team’s first champion: “I don’t think I’ll be sleeping tonight…it’s a dream comes true!” Ladder leader of LOL SimonNight also expressed his excitement and appreciation for the team’s effort: “To achieve the Ladder’s overall ranking is great, and to win the tournament with my team mates is even greater!” He also hoped to grab another title soon, continued this gaming mode, and perhaps challenged more teams on international stage.
