Team LighT visits Microsoft Campus
March 30, 2012 – Taipei, Taiwan – Tt eSPORTS sponsored team LighT eSports was invited to the Microsoft Campus in Washington, USA on March 21st to complete a Q&A session with employee attendees as well as play show matches against the company’s in-house Starcraft II team.
The Q&A included American player KawaiiRice giving input on in-game scenarios as well as talking about his career as a professional gamer and student. Other LighT team members such as Golden, Calibre, Binski and Knight were on-hand to play some games with the Microsoft crew.
Microsoft’s Starcraft II team competes in the Day9 After-Hours Gaming League which pits technology industry professionals against each-other in a tournament format. In an effort to increase the awareness and support of eSports within the company, the team decided to invite LighT to the campus to hold a small event which would educate fellow colleagues and friends on the dedication it requires to maintain the discipline of a professional gamer.
